you would have to get one to find out. i'm sure it could fit but there would be a lot of crazy modding you would need to do to get it to mount right. also, since they are so new they would cost a lot more than likely.

I wouldnt really think the extra gear would be all that much more beneficial. But if it can fit, go for it man

you would also have different gear ratios (at least i'm pretty sure) which would actually make your car a little faster. the only downside could be this tranny is for an engine that is pulling 255 hp so it may not be too good on our 160/190 hp engines, it may bog them down or something.

The 6 speed in the 02 and 03 max's is really ****ty- guys are getting them replaced all the time. It would be a waste of time and money with little or no gains. If you want a swap, put the VLSD 5spd from the VE maximas in- it will fit better and is a good tranny.

My car came with a 6 speed: 1,2,3,4,5,and R (R=Really Fast) I wouldn't try it though. I have heard a few stories about the 6 speed in the 2K2s but you can kill any tranny when ******* it hard enough.

so after 5th gear, you shift it into R (R=Really Fast) ?? damn i'd love to see how fast your car goes in that gear
