Still smelling power steering pump fluid.......

I replaced the power steering pressure hose about a month ago and after degreasing the area where the some of the fluid leaked out, I'm still smelling fluid. I don't seem to be losing any fluid but it still smells like I am. Any ideas on how to get rid of the smell? I am contemplating cleaning the whole engine again to get rid of the smell(I know this can screw up the knock sensor but I am planning on replacing it in the next month or so anyways).

I know my power steering pump is shot, I go through a bottle of PS fluid about every 2 months or so, and when it's cold or rainy, I don't have any power steering under 5mph...
Correction... Before I got my manifold studs replaced I lost power steering under those conditions, I haven't since they fixed it... I have no clue why unless they put a quick patch on it or something and forgot to tell me.

Using power steering fluid may be causing the leaks! The 3rd generation Max's are supposed to have Dexron automatic transmission fluid in the power steering system. Using regular power steering fluid can mess up the rubber seals in the system. Check your owners manual!
