Have a muffler shop bend a CAI for you. Before you ask how, look at how other CAI's are ran and take measurements.

 

Why? Is it biger than the third gen max, what is the difference?

 

If it was a VE you were trying to put it on the CAI would almost fit, but there would be some differences in midpipes. But since you are trying to put a CAI on a VG, I'm sure if you look at the intakes some of the VG guys have, and compare it to the VQ (4th gen) CAI's, you will see how it won't fit at all.
