hey wasup peeps. i wonder if some can help me. when i start my ride theres a odor of gas. question what can it be is it the fuel filter thats clogged up or are the injectors dirty.

could be a dead O2 sensor making the mixture rich.

 

This has been addressed so many times. You also should search.

 

I had the same problem in my 89GXE. I would change the fuel filter and o2 sensor. And since the fuel lines in your car are probaly the original ones I would get them changed too. After changing my fuel lines and fuel filter the smell went away but changing the o2 sensor too cant hurt.

 

thanks alot for the help.i will try those things out and see if it will work. the bad thing is it's to damn cold here!!!!! can't wait until it warms up..... and yes i went to the search and also found out stuff. listen one more thing, i know it'still winter, where do i go and who do i speak to about the upcoming car shows? i live in nj, north jerzy.thanks.....
