what does the "fuel injector sensors" look like?

Can someone post a picture of what theirs looks like? I having big problems with my injectors right after I replaced the spark plugs. Putt-putt-, terrible gas milage, bad performance, lotsa stuttering, car shaking becuase of "prefires(not missing)". They checked the MAF and O2, which were fine, and looking around on the board, I am almost 100% sure it's either a vaccuum leak or a malfunctioning sensor.
PROBLEM is, I'm running out of time. One injector allready went bad because of problem(prematurely)[replaced it for $600), and others are VERY strained. I need to find this problem QUICK, or I'm going to need a new set of injectors for $1200!!!(which probably still won't hit the problem).
I'm IMed lots of members of the board who seemed to have almost identical problems in the past, but they haven't replied, nor did they ever post how they fixed it.

Hmm.... in the haynes manual they don't even use the word "fuel injector sensors"... but most previous posts have said that their hoses to it were cracked, or filled with dirt..

what do you mean "strained"?? if they are dying or clogged thats the problem right there...test the voltage of the old 5 injectors and if they are out of spec than most liekly thats your problem.

I'm looking up how to test the injectors right now, but I don't think that they are clogged or are old and dying. I have a new fuel filter now, and right after changing the spark plugs(when it started stuttering), I ran some techron fuel cleaner through, but the problem is getting worse. And the main reason I don't think it's the injectors, is that the car runs fine the first 5-30s after turning it on, but once it gets warmed up, it's not "missing", but the spark is going off to quick. I'm going to take it down to a different mechanic a little later, maybe he can figure which sensor or what not may be malfunctioning.

Well, I would have, but I didn't have the extra $500 at the time, but was planning on it, but from alot of previous posts, 2 or 3 other people have had almost identical problems, replaced their fuel injectors, and still had the problems! I don't want to spend $900 when it is likely not the fuel injectors that are acting up, but are being "hurt" by whatever is... (they seem to be getting worse, and even replacing the one didn't solve a problem, just added another one to the downward spiral)

I don't think so....
I called up the mechanic becuase I've heard only about 2-5 posts on "injector sensors", and he said there isn't such a thing.
But basically the injectors are prefiring, they aren't missing, they just seem to be shorting out to soon. What could be the causes of this?
Possible ones I know:

MAF sensor
O2 sensor
replace injectors
.
Everything happened after I changed my spark plugs, do you think I should get someone else to change them a 3rd time, and get new spark plug cables? Would either of those help if the spark plugs are grounding somehow?

ok re read chris' statement. He didnt say anything about a "injector sensor" because like you said there isnt any such animal. He said "injector harness". They can get coroded real bad and if you take the plug off you can see where they are green from corosion.
