ECU Change-out Problems
Hey guys, I recently changed out my ECU and AT Control Unit and put in one from another 90 Maxima GXE. I get the check engine light so when i do the self diagnostics i get an error code I havent been able to find. Its 3 red flashes, 5 green flashes. My manual only goes up to 3 red, 4 green. Has anyone seen this error before?
Second question:
Since i changed out my AT control unit I noticed this. With my old one when i had the overdrive engaged, the P and C on the AT switch both lit up. Now with the new unit, only the C OR the P light up, depending where i have the switch. So the P doesnt light up automatically like it used to. But the reason I changed it out was because the original ECU and AT control unit got doused with coolant when the heater core exploded. Does anyone know how a good AT Control unit is supposed to control those lights?

Re: ECU Change-out Problems
The P lights up for 2 seconds when you turn your ignition on.
After that either P or C or nothing will light up depending on switch position.
You can find AT unit diagnostics described here
