suspension questions: guru's needed.
first off, $250 to spend on suspension, i have ST springs and KYB struts (waiting to get koni struts before i do anything with that combo).
do i buy addco RSB and split an ST set with someone
or do i buy stage 1,2,3 SFCs
or do i buy stage 1 SFCs and addco rsb?
which will give me more of a difference. cornering is my main concern but i was under the impression the SFCs helped out everything (launching, braking, cornering, sure footedness over bumps/dips).
next, now that i'm ready willing and able to adjust my suspension to how it best suits me, exactly what angles should i adjust to? (caster/camber?) i'm looking for neutral->oversteer bias(accomplished through neutral rear camber, negative front camber) and i was just reading about how caster effects torque steer.
anyone?

get the SFCs.. excellent mod at any other stage in the system. you won't be dissappointed.
set your front camber to about -1. leave everything else alone.
for auto X days, set your toe to about 1/4" out. for street driving, leave it straight so you don't wear out your tires.

my camber is all screwed up, so when you say leave the rear alone, you mean set it to factory specs?
how about caster? factory specs or is there something to adjust that i could benefit from?

set the rears to factory specs or 0-1 neg camber. watch for inside edge tire wear though. usually that's caused by bad rear toe, but it's all up to you-- better handling or longer tire life. there's a compromise there.
leave caster alone. the parts you'll need to adjust it are several hundred bucks and you won't get that much benefit unless you auto-X... but the parts you'll need to adjust the camber/caster that much will throw you directly into STX or Prepared classes. not a place you want to be in, since you'll be up against turbo'd CRXs with coilovers and such. waaaaay out of your league.

as far as caster adjustment, isnt there an adjustment built into the car? i can use the alignment machines at school whenever and all the tools they have so its not an issue as far as that sort of thing goes.
btw, i dont autocross (yet at least), i'm just looking for the best handling thats practical (no -3* camber like these 180sx's drifting non-stop), i'm a spirited driver almost all the time(exceptions are exhaustion and bad conditions)

no, caster is not adjustable from the factory. there's no way to add it unless you ad camber/caster plates at the top of the front struts.
just set the camber to -1 on all the wheels you can and be done with it.

not very high... I scrape under the cat quite often with eibachs, but it's nothing I would really worry about. I've never bottomed out on a speed bump or anything, and the rest of the time, you can usually just slow down and take at an angle and you'll be fine.
