90 Max Hard to Start
Hello everyone. This is my first post, maybe someone can help me out, or give me and idea, before going to Nissan or other shops. I have a problem with a 1990 Maxima. This problem is starting to repeat itself and this is what's happening: After sitting for 2 days, I could not start it, the battery is about 1 year old, it did not want to turn over. Tried a few more times and it finally started and ran normally. In the next few days it started and ran OK. Then again it was not started for 2 days and the same thing occured. So, does anyone have any idea. I have tried 'search' for this, but did not see any similar problem. Thank You for any suggestions.

What type of battery do u have and how much cold cranking amps? Try cleaning the battery terminal and connections. If u are from ontorio, perhaps the cold weather, assumed, is affecting your battery. Instead of leaving it sit for 2 day, just start the car and let it run for 15mins to recharge the battery even if u are not going to use the car on that day.
