What is the oil that everybody here uses on their Max? I have a 93 VE 5sp and was recommended by a friend to use Castrol Syntec Blend. Not sure on this, though.

Plus, for the reference, I think our manuals say to use 5W-30. Correct me if I am wrong, please.

Oil change time for me was last Friday, so I really want to get this taken care of ASAP.
