will the dash kit for a 92-94 maxima fit on a 89-91? the diagram looks like it should. has anybody tested it out?

No. the center piece on the dash is different betwene each model.
look very closely at the pics of each dash kit, and you'll see that the 92-94 are in more pieces than the 89-91.
same shape, more pieces.

The 92-94 dash is inset slightly from the 89-91 dash, thus requiring more pices on the 92-94

(I think that's the way it goes. it's 1am here and I'm about to crash.. brain not functioning 100%.)
I may be backwards on which is which, but I'm pretty sure that's the way it is.
