engine whistles
my engine starts to whistle at around 3000rpm like a turbo is spooling up and it sounds really cool. when im WOT past like some trees or something with the window open i can hear even louder. this has been doing it since i got the car about 2 months ago. im just wondering if this is how these engines sound or it something is wrong. 1991 maxima se

do you have a stock airbox or have you put in a POP filter? If you remove the stock box your airflow may whistle a bit, well at least mine does. You can really hear it sucking in the air and a whistle sound under acceleration.
