Car will not start YET again. This time, I noticed that the clock reset itself to 12:00 and the lights *appear* to be slightly dimmer. When trying to turn the car on and hold the key in that position, the car just "flutters" or clicks rapidly. Tried to jump-start it but that did nothing. I'm not sure how to describe it. I just hear a bunch of rapid clicks and the indicators on the dash flash on and off with the clicks.

This isn't related to my earlier auto tranny switch problem, as I tried to shake that around to get it to start also. I thought I might just need a new battery, but I don't think it would help since we couldn't even jump-start it.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. This car just seems to have one problem after another.
