fog light install

Search function isnt working.. I have a quick question. I have a pair of piaa fog lights.
-Now can i just tap the wire into my headlight wire, so whenever i turn on my headlights the foglights come on?

-Also i wouldn't need a relay since im directly taping it into the headlight wire.. correct?

-There are also 3 wires coming from the headlight bulb. One is black (i think ground), and there are two other wires. Which one is the headlight and which on is the highbeam?
btw i have a 93 maxima gxe
-Thanks in advance

technically that should work

i have the Hayne's manual wiring diagram and it shows that the low beam wire is red/blue while the high beam wire is red/green

if you do this, i would tap the left foglight into the left headlight and the right foglight into the right headlight

Happy Wiring

you should use a relay so will get the most output from your fogs.
is your car pre-wired for fog lights? if so, you can just use the existing wiring and its good bc you will have switch for it instead of if being controlled with the headlights.

if not, use the relay, wiring, hardware, and directions it came with. good luck.
