so

u have the car before you can drive it? i would just clean it up and wax it (if you havent already) keep it clean. NO STICKERS except maxima.org ones. just learn more about the deals you can get on performance parts and stuff. front strut tower brace or y-pipes are good.

you want to get it looking good? or running good?

I mean if stickers are you thing, go for it..but they are kinda ricey, especially if you dont have any other mods such as rims..exhaust, etc..

For looks, inexpensive upgrades are cleaning your engine bay...You would surprised how much this improves the overall "vibe" of the car...maybe even a little customization of the interior...ie: spray the dashboard or vent covers a coordinating color.

A muffler is a good upgrade for looks and performance.

Also, inexpensive performance mods include advanced timing and tightening the throttle cable. Both are pretty much free of cost.

yeah thanks for the suggestions. i'm thinkin about going with a brushed aluminum dash kit, spray painting the vent covers silver and then puttin blue leds behind them, and then some blue neons scattered around the interior because i already have the indiglo gauges to match.

i would spend 600$ and do the srtut bar a cai, y pipe, udp and if its a stick get a sts those in my opinion will get the most improvement and of course timing advance is free. if you do it all at the same time you will see a big improvment in accelleration

Do all your maint. on the Max before you drive it. Buy yourself a shop manual, and read up so you will know how to fix it when something goes wrong.

Get it running really nice, and you will appreciate it even more when you get some nice mods.

FSTB
RSB
then save up for springs/dampers

If you want your car to go fast for cheap, I think I am one of the most cheapest guys on the org with one of the fastest cars.

I can shave off 8 tenths of a second for less than $34. This is aboslutely no joke. And if you have a reciprocating saw and willing to do some cutting, I can shave off 9 tenths.

Strut bar, Intake, advanced timing.
I think these are the 3 cheapest mods.

Please DO NOT rice out your car. The maxima doesn't respond well to ricing. I think it's an allergy.

Just concentrate on making your car haul ***. Who cares what it looks like as long as you can waste any punkass ricer?
