engine crossmember

dumb question, but does the engine and trans get supported by anything else besides the crossmember? i looked in the haynes manual but i wanted to be sure. And, for those who have an aftermarket y pipe, is it higher, lower, or the same height as the stock one. just looking for more clearance in my quest for lowest maxima. thanks

there are two tranny mounts that attach to the left (driver's) side frame. one under the battery, and one a couple feet back from there.

As for the Y pipes, the Warpspeed one was designed specfically to not ride any lower than the crossmember, because as I was prototping them, I put a huge dent in one of the first ones on a parking cap because it hung too low. after that, they've fixed them.

I don't know about the others, but last I heard, Cattman's still hung below the crossmember.
