BMW Headlights

you could probably get them at BMW for $130 for each light brand new. the only thing is that it doesn't come with the wiring harnesses for the lights, those you are going to have to buy new or get at a junkyard.

You have Koni's? You like them? If you don't mind, how much did you pay for them? Thanks

I got my 3 series headlights from Cameleon Dave for 100 bucks. The wiring harnesses can be bought at any auto store. Be prepared for a lot of cutting.

I have no in progress pictures. I plan on fixing them a little because I want to use the BMW headlight aimer like how Dave Cohen did his. I'll get back to you on that. Maybe I'll have some time once school starts -=P.

when you said be prepared for a lot of cutting, what entails installing the headlights? and how much is a harness from teh store, and which one do we need to buy?

well after you take your stock headlight out, take the BMW headlight and place it in the hole. Whatever is blocking it from making it fit, you'll have to cut. Basically it's just cut and test until you finally cut enought off so the headlight fits. If you want to make it fit with the aimer, I know Dave Cohen used the 3 series bracket but he cut off most of the bracket. The only thing left of his bracket was the vertical aiming screw. There's no correct way to do it. I talked to the other people that did it, and everyone's done it a different way.

OR....If you're finding yourself having no free time and have some extra $$ laying around, just pay someone to do it. I only do this when I have to as I do a majority of my mods myself (and the other work) I just require the right tools.

No, the process is not irreversable. Just keep all the oem stuff, like the adjusters. No prob.!
