yes you can

I recently replaced the left front wheel bearing in my 93se.
i used a steel punch and a vice to hammer it out, then took some
sand paper to smooth out the inside to carefully and very slowly
pound the new one into place.

the bearing race(sp?) was a SOB to get off the spindle. i first tryed prying, then a torch, and then finally after a broken pry bar i ended up cutting it off with a grinder.

just strong accurate hits with a hammer and punch will get it done.

it would be adviseable to buy both seals (inner and outer) for the job(they are both the same).

any more questions let me know

do NOT use a hammer and punch to change the bearings.. it's one thing to remove the old one that way, but not to replace with the new one.. a shop will charge a $10 bill or so to press the new one in. much cheaper than replacing the bearing again in a few thousand miles because you were too cheap to have it done by the proper equipment.
