antenna has mind of its own
My friend's 93 SE has the stock bose system. The antenna seems to have a mind of it's own. It will go up when the car is turned on...then about 15min later, it'll go down. From there on, it'll randomly go up for a while then down, and just repeat. There's no set rythm...just seems to go on its own.
The same thing happened to my gf's 95 altima... maybe a nissan problem? any ideas?

Hey I don't think its my Motor b/c I can hear the motor trying to take down the antenna but the antenna won't go back down, I think i saw a post a while back that said that he had the same prob. and he had to get a new mast and that a piece of something got stuck in the motor and was preventing it from going down.

no, this's for my friend's 93 SE with bose
now he's telling me that it's erratic when accelerating hard and taking right turns only. nothing happens when stopping or left turns. I'm leaning towards thinking it's the lead...but it doesn't make sense why the lead would just flake out. What could I do even if it was the lead wire? It wouldn't be the power or motor cuz if those are wiggy, antenna would be stuck, but it's not.
