"SpiralMax" electric supercharger?

anybody ever heard of this? my brother e-mailed these guys about this "spiralmax" thing for his civic and now they wont quit sending us mail about how good it is. their claiming like 20-30 hp. it varies with each vehicle and supposedly you can put multiple units in your intake. does anybody have this? i guess i'll let my brother get it and if he gets any good gains then i'll see about gettin it also. just wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

Many people have tried this thing and have actually LOST POWER. I don't know where the hell these guys are coming up with their 20-30hp figures, but it's full of !@#!@$.
As jeff said, the thing is basically a computer fan stuck in the intake.. whoooo, BIG help there!
Just another thought.. If it's a good product, word will spread on it's own. Agressive (annoying) marketing campaigns and claims aren't necessary. If you see someone pushing something really hard (other than reputable stuff), claiming huge power gains for "cheap", then it's 99% of the time too good to be true. lies in advertising abound, and so to the suckers that buy the stuff.
