Lowering question

Well, I'm looking at lowering my car. The kits I'm considering do as little as 1.2" front/rear and as much as 2" front/rear.

The problem is, I have almost brand new 225/65R16 Wheels and tires. Am I going to have to go with a smaller drop to avoid rubbing?

i have 235/45/17 with STs (1.5/1.5 f/r) and have no trouble with spacers in the rear (although i do need to roll my rear fenders as on hard corners, they rub the tires.
