more on the knock sensor...

so i bypassed my knock sensor a few days ago, put the timing back to stock (actually, started with it completely retarded and advanced little by little until it was were it was when i had it advanced before the bypass). absolutely no difference. does this mean my KS is good? i dont see how this can be as i tested the continuity at school a few monthes ago and there was none through the KS side of the harness.
any ideas?

replace the knock sensor and see.... or take it to the dealer and hook it up to their computers and see what happens when you connect the knock sensor.
