H7 bmw ? will these work for headlight conversion?

i was searching ebay and saw these for sale

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

would i be able to use these for the bmw headlight conversion? i noticed that these use h7 bulbs which are different than those used in the basic stock 9005/9006 setup. is this better than the hella brands etc that use h1. i hate my headlights now cause the beam pattern is so dim and weak so i hope to do this conversion sooner or at least b4 summer. what do u think? also would it benefit me to purchase an upgraded wiring harness for the 9004 bulbs that i have now before i start the conversion becuase i know it will require to splice the wires any ways. Any help / info would be much appreciated.

All the guys at DTMpower use ZKW headlights over the BOSCH ellipsoids, but some people who use the ellipsoid lights require some grill modification on the 3rd gen. The bulb doesn't really matter. If I was to do the conversion I would use the ZKW units with the H1 bulb. Also if you're going to the conversion soon just leave the harness until you do the conversion and then get the appropriate harness for the new bulbs.
