I have an 89 Maxima.
My Speedometer (odometer)went out, which is good(odometer)but bad cause I can't chance another ticket or my licence will be suspened. SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THE SENSOR IS AT? Ill greatly apreciate it.
I had the same problem with my old 88 HONDAAAAH ACCORD (my 1st car). All I did was push a sensor into place and it worked. Im hoping it'll be that easy.

Mine went out a couple of years back and all I had to do is push it back down in there. It's right below the oil filter.

Where is the sensor located?

I don't know about the SE, but in my 92GXE the speed sensor is right below the oil filter, as I said. It's the smaller round thing with one wire coming out the top.
