trust me, SIRIUS sucks..get into an XM first or soon...all the MAJOR car companies are installing XM Satellite radio. Better programming and a lower monthly fee. 9 out of every 10 Satellite installs at my Best Buy store are XM. I have the Delphi SKY-Fi..its a plug and play...bring it from my car to my house...and Its got a cool Orange LCD that looks like a DVD player when hooked up in the car...XM all the way, you wont be sorry.

I got the Sirius Gear. I wish there were more stations for certain categories. Also, my reception isnt always that great because of my area. But i can't complain with the free equipment.

So, exactly why is Sirius worse than XM? The reception? The programming? The unit themselves? What?

Not trying to contradict you, BTW, just want to know more. I haven't experienced both.

sirius' programming and equipment are the MAJOR differences. Sony and Pioneer carry XM while Kenwood carries Sirius. Better quality and options. XM has excellent programming in a variety of catergories. Uncut Hip Hop to classical to Jazz.. even Sports, CNN, and talk shows. And for those of you who want a lil "extra" on your way, PLAYBOY channel is available...lol

I personally dont want anything of the sort in my car. Nor do I want anything like Onstar either.

You are, when it all boils down, just being tracked by satellites. None of that for me

whether you like it or not, almost everything you do is being tracked and if you dont have anything "major" to hide, why worry?

Yes but not brand new with the locating chip in it. I think they were just recently required to start doing that

Crap like being asked my phone number, address, and personal information when trying to buy a pencil at a store for crying out loud really really irritates me too.
