I got my FSTB today and was eager to put it on my '92 max SE. However, it did not fit perfectly as I had expected. Some foam wrapped hosing was in the way so I was only able to put in 2 of the bolts on the passenger side of the engine bay. Also, when I closed the hood, I noticed the the passenger side of the hood did not close completely so I had to remove some of the foam padding under the hood as well as bang in the bottom of the hood in order to get it to close completely. Did anyone else have a problem like this?

 

What kind of FSTB is it? If it a new Courtesy unit, I don't think they make those to specificaly fit the VE bay. The older models fit, but the newer ones don't.

Apparently my engine bay looks slightly different than yours. The upper passenger of my engine bay appears to be more crowded than yours. There is no way I can get any kind of strut bar to fit correctly. Oh wellz, at least I made my strut bar fit.
