The distributer ap looks different on my maxima 91 VG than I have seen on other cars. To check it, is it basically the same thing? Take off the two screws, amd check for damage, and then just screw it back on?
It's a pretty silly question, but I don't want to accidentally change anything.

 

Its the same thing, unscrew it, check for damage or cracks, and ready. It may look different because OEM caps have numbers in them and a little bit differece in design, but it does the same.
