eyelets? u mean drip marks (runs)?
if u have runs then get a paint/nib shaver and it should scrape it off...considering it's just the clear that's messed up.

I know what you mean. That is a problem, and has to do with the mix of the paint, the coverage of the coat, and the cleanliness of the environment. Most guys in the business call them 'fish-eyes'. lol You can wet-sand them, if you want to clear coat over that and wet sand again. The trick to wet-sanding out fish eyes correctly is a cross hatch pattern. Good luck to ya!! I painted my car last summer and it was a pain. I'm going to do it again this summer (doing more body work).

fish eyes is mostly due to contaiments on the surface or the paint itself.

You're going to want to put another coat or two of clear after you wet-sand. I had 3 coats of clear before I started to wet sand too, and had to go over it again. Don't worry about orange peel, you can buff that out if you wet sand it right like I told you to. The orange peel effect won't be nearly as bad if you get it like glass underneath the clear.
