My wierd problem -spontaniously gone away?
Ok, now the car was got me a wee bit wierded out....
I was parked at pier 1, on a slope facing upward. I came back out a little while later, started up, and was driving home. The car was shaking(becuase of the engine shakes), but it was alot worse, kind of like how it felt when an injector "died". I was going to pull off when I got to the corner to make sure nothing had like fallen off or anything, and 1/2 way there, it just stopped. No shaking, I could accererate pretty normal again.
I got to the stoplight and felt the car. It was pretty much idling how it should, no unusual shaking. I drove home, and got out and checked the exhaust. I could feel just the tiny bit of irregularity, but it was pretty much comming out as a flow.
What in the hell happened? It's been shaking for months, it suddenly gets real bad and the shaking stops? My possible causes for the shaking so far were: timing, cat clogged, compression, or new one is that the threads on plugs might have been cross threaded bd enough to cause air to leak around them(just a suggestion). None of them explain this...

I am so friggen screwed....
I went back out there, to go to the library, and the car is shaking like mad. It's almost exactly like when the mechanic told me an injector had went, and I got it replaced(didn't have the extra $600 for all 6).
If it is an injector, I'm screwed. I don't have much gas money, never mind $900 for new injectors. When I speed up, it's really bubbly, and takes forever. The faster I go now, the harder it shakes.

I have a similar problem with my 90 maxima, pretty constant "sputter", sometimes its misearable. A mechanic identified a injector going bad, it runs in and out of the ohm range. You can check the ohm range on the injectors yourself if you have a meter. I would check the injectors while its running ok. Then when it acts up check them again to try to identify the bad injector.
