I just bought myself a 1989 Nissan Maxima and I have to repair a few things. One thing I think is really important is the power locks. If I press the lock button in the car, the locks do not do anything. Also if I try to use the key to lock the car from the outside the locks don't move down far enough to lock the doors (driver's door only). I have managed to manually lock the other three doors. I have searched on the internet and found no answers to my problem. Do any of you all have suggestions?
