I know I'm going to get drilled for this, but since I live in New Zealand, we are alittle behind. I just saw an ad for this oil treatment called X-R1. Does that stuff really work? I want to find out from others & not ask the sellers here. They just want to make a buck I just want to know if it works. Peace

Never heard of the product before? Maybe it is just me though. I currently run Amzoil in my 92. Before the first time that you use Amzoil they offer a engine flush. Amzoil is 100% synthetic and is not only a great product but is great because you only have to change it every 6,000 and not 3,000. I have found that my engine runs much smoother and cooler. The best part is that the price is very resonable. Very competative (but better than)with others well respected manufactures ex. Castrol Syntec, Royal Purple.....worth the money!! That is for sure. I would probally have to say that it is always good to stick to the name brands. When you try things that are not well known usually that is what you will get.

So, nobody has ever heard about this stuff.... The commercial is from the states. Sumbody must have heard of this stuff. I want to try it, but really want to hear sum feedback from you guys.

If I were you I would just stick with a good oil and stay away from the additives. Some cause excess air in the oil from aggitation, not good.
