I heard the some 3rd gens came with lsd, i think my car has it but what can i do to be sure?

 

you don't have LSD...GXEs don't have LSD. only the 92-94 SEs have VLSD.

 

i have a 93 gxe, the thing is that my car has pretty much all the se options excpet the ve, the spoiler and fog lights so maybe it has a lsd. the question was how to know for sure if my car has one. it cant hurt to check. only reason i brought it up is because i noticed my car will burn out with both wheels

 

exactly! so since you say you don't have the fogs, spoiler or VE...than you have a GXE and thus no LSD!

if you wanna check, jack the car up on jackstands and lightly press the gas I guess...

take your lazy *** outside and lay under each tire while a friend runs you over...if ONLY one tire leaves a mark then you know you DON'T have LSD! Thats being an ***.....noob!

 

Umm, he pretty plainly explained above that GXEs DON'T have VLSD. that's all there is to it. just because it's got options on it doesn't mean it has LSD. it ONLY came in VE transmissions, period. unless you've got a VE under the hood, there's no chance in hell you've got a VLSD tranny.
