ABS Actuator Assembly (I think

Well, I went out to my car one day and it was dead. The battery was empty. Anyways, had it jumped and made it to work. Got out of work and same problem wouldn't start dead battery. Jumped again. Got home shut off car and opened the hood. Heard a noise coming from the front left area, right where the actuator assembly for the ABS system is. It was still on (engaged and doing something), or at at least I assume that it was because it was making a noise like it wanted to keep on going. ABS computer gives warning code that says that it is the problem. However, it still runs the brakes properly, it just won't shut off when the car is off. Replacement part is crazy expensive. So for now, I have been disconnecting it and just running on manual brakes and not ABS which works. However, I would like to fix this, so if anyone has any ideas at all, I would really appreciate the help.
