paint job (wetsanding)

hey i just finsihed paintin my car, and i wetsanded the clear today with 1500 and it looked good wet but when it dryed there was like this haze on it and it didnt look good i was really worried. Will it get the gloss look back and get rid of the haze when i buff it??? ANY tips would be helpful.

1500 grit on paint?





Go to an auto store and buy some 3m rubbing compound it says it removed 2,000 grit scratches and better. Try to buff it out with that.

I couldn't say, I've never done it on black. Guess you couldn't really see it on white anyways.

man I dont want to be a jerk but think about this for a minute...what happens when you sand something? Yes its supposed to look like that but when you buff it with compound it will bring out the shine.

the light sandpaper just gets the small imperfections and orange peal out then you buff it out to a beautiful shine.
