question regarding 2" drop

My suspension that I am currently riding on are KYB and Eibach Pro-kit. I have been currently debating on dropping my maxima even more. Perhaps either a 1.8 or even a 2.0 drop. I have 18 x 7.5 (40 series tires)Volk Racing GT-7's.
I have a couple of questions. The first is do you think that I will need a camber kit? If so who offers them? Second is will I have to roll my rear fenders? I was told that the fronts should clear not problem but the rear may rub if I don't roll them.
Is there anyone with a 2 inch spring drop with the same rims and tire size? Any kind of info would be much appreciated!! Thank you in advance!!
PICS WOULD BE MUCH APPREICIATED!!

Re: Re: question regarding 2" drop

Yup!! Got two JL 12 W6's in a custom enclosed box. Pretty heavy. Let's just say that there is not way that 1 person is going to lift and carry the box. Atleast it will ne harder for someone to rip me off!! One of my friends told me that I would probally have to roll the rears only.
Thanks for the reply!!

you are going to need to provide a little more info.

exact tire size (ex-225/45/17)

offset of the wheel

what springs you are going to get that offer 2" drop (or are est. because Sprint and intrax are the lowest I know of (at 1.8 and 1.75)...not saying they havent come out with new ones but those are the lowest I know of.

you will probably need camber bolts up front search on google for the best price.

you may need to replace the solid rear parallel link with an adjustable one so you can adjust camber in the rear.

if you provide the wheel and tire info I am sure one of the wheel experts will provide you with more info.

Re: Re: question regarding 2" drop

I don't think anyone makes 2" drop springs, I have sprint springs(1.8" drop) with 40/225/18 tires and I did have two L7'S in a ported box in the trunk and they never rubbed, the only time they rub is in the front when I turn the wheel all they way to one side or the other while I'm going slow. you can see pictures on my homepage

It's not likely you'll rub. I had subs in the back, ST springs, and 18X9" rims with 225/40 tires. I only rubbed in the rear after I put the springs on, and it was only by less than 2 mm. Needless to say, a 9" rim with 40 mm offset is a lot wider than a 7" rim with 40 mm offset. You'll be fine most likely.
