automatic seatbelt problem

automatic seatbelt problem

my driver side automatic seatbelt is not moving when i open and close the door
How can i fix this problem?
its on a 94 gxe.......

need info:

is it both seatbelts
is the motor even making noise
and work done on the car before the problem happened

give more info and maybe soimeone can help. right now, I'd say its either the motor is burnt, a fuse (not sure if they even have a fuse) burnt, electrical boo-boo somewhere. but I'm sure that's all pretty obvious

I, too, struggled trying to figure out a problem like this on my '90. I finally took it to the dealer because someone told me that seatbelts are warranted forever. Sure enough, both sets of front belts were replaced for no charge on a 12-year-old car. I still don't know what the problem was, but I don't care.

its the driver side its stuck 1 place not moving at all not even making a noise no work has been done on the car just shuts out one day
where can i find the fuse to check if its blown or the motor so i'll know if its burnt out???????
