Had a scary problem last night

I had a corner bulb go out yesterday so I stopped by the store to replace the 1157 bulb. I decided to get one of those hyper white bulbs to see how it looked. It looked a lot better than the normal bulbs, and everything was normal for about half an hour. Then, while I was on I-95 all my lights died, with the exception of my headlights. Not even my fogs worked since they are rewired to work with the parking lights. So, I had to get home with no corner lights, interior lights, or tail lights. I thought for sure I was going to get pulled over before I made it home. Now I have to wait for my lunch break or after work to go out and fix them.

you blew a fuse. Mine did the same thing when I did the conversion to make the corner lights stay bright all the time. Check the wiring that you've done

Maintaining proper speed in heavy traffic was fun with no speedo lights
I think I'm gonna head into the parts department in a few minutes and grab some fuses during lunch.

Put it in 5th gear and listen to the engine, then set the cruise control. I was being VERy careful to not speed any since the lack of tail lights was drawing plenty of attention.

I eventually found a truck that was going at a speed I liked and just followed closely behind him to make sure people behind were sure to see me.

i had the same thing happend to me b4 it might be a fuse but also check the wires in the back tail lights and see if any of theme are blown/burnt. at first i just thought it was the fuse but when i turned them back on the fuse blew again. so i had to cut and and splice some wires in the back to make it work.

yeah, my map lights work, that's what I used to check my speed and gas. The only good thing about last night was my clock finally worked like it should. No more dim clock.
