Question regarding HID and BMW lights

I currently am awaiting my arival of MCcoullough HID system (same as stock 2002 Altimas). My question is would I still be able to use the HIDs if I were to purchase the BMW lights? Do I need to purchase a different style of wiring harness? Sorry if this question sounds dumb. Just don't wanna buy this and find out that I can't use either the lights or my HIDs. Have already bought too many things that I am trying to get rid of now! Don't want my pile of gotta get rid of things to get higher.
Thanks ahead of time for all you help!

Re: Question regarding HID and BMW lights

Make sure that you have purchased an HID kit for the BMW lights if you wish to use the BMW lights for the best results. BWM lights use either a 9005/9006 combination or a 9005/H1 combination I believe depending on what type of BMW lights you purchase.

Those are just the US-spec ones I think. My Euros use H1s for hi and low, and I've got no idea if other Euro-specs are the same. My guess is yes, but don't quote me on that.
