Well it's about time!!! I've been submitting pics of my max to Super Street for the last year and a half hoping they would feature it in the Reader's Ride section. I would wait impatiently for the next issue to see if I made it on Reader's Rides... NOPE! After my accident, I sent them 5 pics of my wrecked maxima hoping I could get in their Accident Car section.. I didn't get in.. So I sent them another 3 pics of my wrecked max along with 7 pics of my max before the wreck. Did I make it in Super Street in Reader's Ride or Accident Car section? NOPE!! Well today I just noticed that I finally got a chance to be in the Reader's Ride section of Super Street on the net. Well, I'm happy... It's not as good as being in the Magazine but this will have to do for now. I still can't believe Alex's 3rd gen maxima got in Super Street when he has half the mods I have!! eerggh.. but I must say.. Alex's maxima is a nice show car.

 

Sky..... you should post a link or something. I STILL haven't found the site. Did they post the pics of your car BEFORE or AFTER the accident??

 

sweet nevin...i was gonna tell you to send the pics to a mag (can't remember which mag it was) but they put in a section for people that have modded their rides and then had wrecks...it might actually be super street but i can't remember

 

i've been reading SCC and a few others for a year and a half now and i'v only seen full features/project cars that were maxes 3 or 4 times. the JWT turbo 5th gen,STillen's max 4th and 5th gen and a normally aspirated 5 th gen. the JWT 5th gen was in SCC and the others may have been in SS or Turbo.

as far as 3rd gen are concearned the oly one i saw was Vitaly's, he made into the Max Drive section of SCC twice. before and after he put in the turbo. how many times have you actually seen or driven a turbo max? i feel it was a little unfair that he only made it into the Max Drive section after having been featured there once already.


if you or any other max owners are looking to the mags for info, your best bet is to see if a given principle would be applicable to your ride.
