I have been hearing this slight ticking noise when my 89 SE runs so I popped my hood today and was feeling around the spark plugs. When I put my hand on the bottom right spark plug wire I could feel the ticking vibration all through my hand. What could this be lifters? Its only on that one cylinder. COuld I need a tuneup?

 

When was the last time you had the oil changed? What grade did you use? Nissan oil filters always work best...

 

I believe that means it time for some new spark plug wires because it sounds like the wire(but it has a bad connection) is on fully on the spark plug through for making a new ticking and vibration noise. Does the car run slugish too with this ticking noise??
