VE exhaust studs

I've hearing alot about broken exhaust stud but never eally paid much attention until I found a broken stud on my 92 VE. It's the first stud behinf the AC compressor.
Is this problem more common on VG's than VE's. I was under the impression it's not common on VE's. BTW doesn't seem to be causing any problems such as noise, performance etc.

That's the reason why you've heard a lot of talk about exh studs, because it's a common failure in both the VE and VG. Cost factor for replacement range from DIY cheap to bringing it to the shop, both may involve head removal. If you replace one, replace them all. $0.02
