My AE Headlight...

My passenger side headlight busted when I rear ended someone. And I got a new one through Keystone Automotive for about $80. EVERYTHING came w/ it including the bulb. BUT the cool thing is - it's black on the inside. I thought it was just a shadow cuz I installed it in a garage. It looks A LOT different when I have my lights on now. If I HAD another $80 I'd buy a right side one too....anyone else have one or two?

Black on the inside? Won't that affect the reflectivity of the light??

you'll need to remove the clips from the grille on that side (2 clips, they're a pain but keep at it)
remove corner light and you'll see two 10mm bolts/screws going into the side of the headlight
then there are 2 10mm nuts on the backside of the headlight bracket (near the radiator)

check chiltons online in the FAQ for more

OT: Would you by any chance have some spare parts from your red VE?

1) Radio brackets

2) Radio bezel/trim piece that goes around the radio/climate control unit etc

Any chance you got em to spare? I need em

Awesome...

Although the radio bezel is missing in those pics. I'm talking about the immediate trim piece around the radio and whatnot...it holds the hazard button...and the lil change dealie at the bottom....you know what I'm talkin bout right? lol

If so you selling in the next couple days? I would need it as soon as possible

actually its opposite of the ae headlight. The ae light is dark on the corner pieces and bright in the center but I see what your saying. I was considering taking the lens off of my gxe and do the corners like the ae and put my extra set of UK corners on there but found a set of e36 lights cheap so will probably put those on instead.

Yeah, a close up would be better. Maybe sometimes new headlights look darker because they arent fogged up or pitted on the front?

What's a good paint to use on bumpers? Mine is real chippy.

just use some touch-up paint if the area of damage is small, or get an aerosol can. spray the area with the paint and spray some clear coat on it. you can get some paint here http://www.paintscratch.com/
