Stock alarm won't stop going off

I tried searching and I kept getting errors so I figured it would be alright to make a new post.

So I washed my car today and drive it home. Turn my car off on my driveway and run in to open the garage figuring its going to rain on my clean car. I unlock my driver's side door with the key and the horn starts going off and my lights are flashing. So I close the door and try locking and unlocking my door again, nothing will stop the alarm. I ended up popping my hood and taking the negative battery clamp off. Now whenever I put the clamp back on, the alarm still goes off. What gives?

Also I don't know the code for my car for those door handle buttons, is there a way to figure this out?

Put the neg battery terminal back on and try lock/unlocking the passenger door lock. Maybe the drivers door lock is inop.

Thanks for the link! I never could see that brass box up until now. Got my codes reprogramed and it makes my car seems so much better. Thanks.

Also, I think the moisture from washing my car had something to do with my alarm going off and not disarming, I put the battery on like 2 hours later and it wasn't going off. So it's all good now.

So you can use the features now.. truck release, power windows down, (also if you have a moonroof if you press it a second time the window button on the out side the moon roof opens as well..) i hope the write up wasnt confusing.. any how.. your welcome for the info, glad to give back.. to the org community.
