place racing short ram??

place racing short ram??

hey, i need to know if it is possible to make the place racing CAI into a short ram intake... if so i need a write up on how to do it...thanks

just remove the lower pipe section and attach the filter to the MAF...it takes like 2 minutes, no need for a writeup

shouldn't be that hard, is this what you're trying to do(picture below)? I'm using a frankencar and I didn't have any problems.

the new filter the Place Racing CAI comes with is a little large to fit as a "pop or ram" charger setup.....but it still works great.

It's actually how I have mine setup right now, just been too busy to complete it...once I'm home from school, it'll be all set. haha.

the filter i have is the monster flow filter and i cant find a way to get the filter to attach to the MAF....thats my problem

you need a MAF adapter, matter of fact there should be one already on the CAI kit you have. not sure how the PR kit is, but if you remove the lower pipe there should be a MAF adapter connecting the lower pipe to the MAF

i wonder if i can take the adapter off of the lower pipe to attach it... thanks for the help... ill get back if it doesnt work

well i jus wanna say im a dumbass... i dont know why i couldnt think of jus removin the adapter...anyways, thanks for the help guys
