I am new to preformance upgrade for my Maxima but now that I am done with my stereo system I want to build up my Maxiams engine.. I was looking on the net for a exhaust system and found a good deal on a Greddy Cat back exhaust system $450.00. I was wondering if this is a good deal first of all and if this would truly be a good selection. Would I notice any difference when I match this with my Tenzo intake? Please help me out..It is much appreciated.

Don't do Greddy!!!!!

you're paying for the NAME not the product!! get your ENTIRE exhaust system(hi-flow Y-pipe, hi-flow Cat conv. and 2.5" catback piping from Warpspeed for only $60 more dollars!!!($510) Greddy isn't worth the money they or what most performance stores ask for it! now I'm not downing it, but for $60 more dollars you can have a 10-12+/- possible HP increase compared to Greddy's "claimed" 5hp increase!! check ou the site here-----> WSP Exhaust!! you won't be disappointed!

I've got a cheaper solution! If you want the sound, get a new, nice looking muffler w/ a tip. Then go buy a hi-flow cat. Finally, go to an exhaust shop and have them enlarge your piping and weld on your muffler for about $130-$140. You don't need to buy piping from places like greddy and warpspeed unless you want bolt-on stuff, which most people don't really need.

Re: Don't do Greddy!!!!!

like with anything else you buy you get what you pay for. the greddy exhaust, while expensive, is well matched to the car. it gives the vg a deep tone, not a ricy raspy sound like other mufflers. Greddy is also known for quality... the only thing that i don't like about the greddy is the 4 or 5 inch exhaust tip that it comes with. (cant rember off hand)

I believe that either dan or dalls admitted that warpspeeds exhaust system is louder that what most people want.
