the good link for auto tinting and car care
I read a thread here about tinting windows and mirror tint etc and someone had a link for a site dedicated to car care. In particular tint paint wax etc. I thought I bookmarked it but I didnt. Anyways Im loooking to buy a good brand of tint film (5%) that also keeps light out (lower temp in car) Ive seen people selling generic brands on ebay. I dont know if it matters but want to do some research before buying.

Get tint that is metallic and not dyed. This prevents it from fading like say from black to purple over the years. And if it really is 5% tint, then that means it keeps out 95% of the light and only lets 5% in (get it???). I don't really know of any brands except the one I've got. It's called Charcool or something like that, it keeps out the desert heat somewhat, but its really kicker when the A/C is workin. It's almost like a freezer.

thanks for the info yeah i live in az and the bigger concern really is to keep the heat out. Did you do yours yourself ..where did you buy film from? Also is it hard to find the blue film instead of black I like both but was just curious
