I Miss My Maxima
I Miss My Maxima
I had a pearl white 91 maxima 5-speed. I only had it for a year but I loved it. It had many problems and cost me a lot in parts good thing I did most of my own work. The reson I had to let it go was it had a rust hole it the trunk that caused the seat belt to fail. It also had several broken manifold studs. both would make it fail inspection. the trunk was going to be about $4000 to fix and the studs alot but I would have tried to do that my self. I just couldn't see spending the time and money to fix it if I could never sell it because of the seat belt. I needed a car and my parents wouldn't help me or co-sign for a loan. I ended up getting a car at the only place that would give me a loan. I got a kia spectra. I traded to maxima with a rotted trunk broken manifold studs, no radio, and 228,000 miles for $1700 The kia is very under powered it real isn't that good of a car but I need somthing witha a warrenty. If some day there was to be a abandoned warehouse full of 3rd gen maximas that have been hidden for years i would be the first to buy one...or two. I miss my max!!!

Now, if I cry, it's NOT because you got rid of your Max, but because you got a KIA???
