how harsh is the ride compare to say intrax or stock?
how's the ride height after it settles?

nothing if the struts are good. i'm deciding to go with that or intrax. it's 100 more so i want to compare because price is a factor.

Intrax arent 100 more. I pait $197 shipped for mine at summitracing.com.

thats only $68 more than the sprints on ebay (i assume those are the ones you are going to get)

I am personally glad that I went with Intrax and absolutely love the look and drop.

Sprints are great springs, i had them on my 91, the ride is harsh in the city over big bumps, but its all dependent on the struts. I know when I put them on with my fresh KYBs it rode like a charm, but after the KYBs started to wear, it was BUMP city all day!!

but after seeing Chris's car in person a few weeks ago...INTRAX OWNZ!!!! they tuck amazingly well on 18s!!!

why would you say to go with intrax over sprint? i want an even LOOKING drop. my ST rear drop is perfect(could deal with lower though ) however my front is a little high for my taste(before anyone jumps on me, they've been on for a year with KYB GR2s).
hows the handling? i plan on tokico blues and was originally going with sprints but now intrax has my attention.

if you want an even drop then go with Intrax. To me that is a nice even drop. The sprints usually sit a little higher in the back.

I measured when i lowered my car and from the center of the wheel well to the ground was exactly the same in the front and back 24 3/4".

Sprints will trash the KYBs in no time.

Kyb-gr2 is much more last longer than the tokico does.

and most likely the Toks too. my KYBs lasted about 10-12k miles on the Sprints. neither are really made for extreme drops.

Chuckling . Nope it isnt easy to this ..You ll need a special tools for the rear shocks to remove the old shocks that holds the shocks on assmebily.

The only "special" too that is needed for a Strut Job is the spring compressor.

Unless I missed something on the 2 occasions that I've replaced Maxima struts, the only tools I used were a couple of wrenches, a good socket set and a pair of large channel locks. (aside from the spring compressor)

I dont really understand why so many people say that the rear suspension is so hard to work with on our cars. I had the whole suspension out of the car in no time including dropping the suspension member so I could replace the front arm to make it adjustable. Had it back together in no time...well after I got all my parts in at least.

Granted I had air tools, good jack stands and good tools but still dont see that big of a deal.
