Ok... first off... no L337. Secondly, have you actually taken the time to look at the design and light output of stock Max lights? They suck bum. Thirdly, if done right, the Bimmer lights can be flush and look stock, plus they have way better output than the stockies. And finally, dont hate that someone put theirs in when we all know you'd be doing it too if you had the money. That being said...

Can't wait for the pics...

it all goes down to personal taste.

that's the point of customizing right?

that said, can't you aim the left side? I haven't seen those lights up close before but don't they have angle adjusting screws like on the stock housing?

Nice... sits nice and flush with the body. I see where the drivers side aims down, probably makes your Max look like at night. There should be two allen type bolts that adjust the aim on the housings. Take some pics once she's properly aimed.

Charlie...... first off, nice lights! I've got one suggestion, and that would be to aim them using a wall as a reference point. I had that problem when I first put mine in. The passenger side was perfect, but the driver side was all crooked. Had to do a LOT of adjusting, but I finally got it right. It's a trial-and-error thing. Use some of these "ghetto" aiming references (I did):

A nearby wall or garage door - the old-school mechanics way, and proven to work in most cases.
Car parked, facing the car standing away - I parked my car and, with my lights on, walked about 3/4 of a block away and did a bit of adjusting by eyesight.
Car parked, facing the car while sitting in another car - this'll give you a general idea of what other drivers see when you drive towards them. Very effective, if you ask me...
Just some suggestions on how to aim them, based on all the drama I went through aiming mine.

Oh, and as for your grill, I'd try a local hardware store for some wire mesh. If you need some instructions on how to do that, I've got everything wrote down in a Word document that I could email to you. PM me and let me know...

I think this (below) looks better than anything at night. Like others have said the stock beam pattern is awful no matter what kind of bulb you use. I have a friend that has stock 3rd gen headlights with HIDs and my headlights light up the road better with 55W regular bulbs.
