remove interior panels and search for bolts, not too dificult. i think they are 10mm bolts, probably four on each side, and has tacky stuff holding it in place to the rear body panel.

I am having the same problem sort of. I messed mine up myself 2 hours ago at 1 am while half high. Does anyone know where I can buy a stock driver side taillight cover? If I find one what should I expect to pay, and should I just look at a junkyard?

thanks, and good luck nagal.

Well, fellas... I saw a couple on Ebay, if you wanna go that route. Also, there are more than a few people parting their rides out in the "for sale" forum. I'd start there. All I know, is that I tried to buy tails at my local junkyard, and they want to charge me $100 each! Yeah, riiigghht!

You have to use a heat gun, or a powerful hair dryer and heat up the black silicone (Be careful not to melt light!). Once the silicone is soft enough then you will be able to pry lights out gently. *Be careful not to get any silicone on your clothes... It will not come out, and is a pain to clean off of your paint.

There is a write-up on someone's page, just don't remember where it is...

yeah, use the heat gun and i also suggest getting masking tape and news papers. tape off the area with the papers and have them hanging around the lights so you dont have to worry about getting the silicone on the paint.

I just took mine off. No need for a heat gun, but that stuff is messy. make sure you have all 3 nuts off. there is one hidden iunder the plastic next to the inside edge where the trunk is.

also 100 is way off for junkyard. The DEALER price is 130 for the whole assembly, and 96 for the cover only.

and now my keyboard looks like one in a garage.
