how to remove, question

Hey guys, since the search is down, I was wondering if anyone knows a link that shows how to remove the middle section of the back lights. The Red enclosure w/ the MAXIMA symbol in it on the trunk that doesnt light up I want to take off. Can anyone help me out??

open your trunk...pull the tabs off. pull liner off. 4 10 mm nuts and you're done.

are the 4 nuts behind the liner? if so then what are the 4 nuts around the edges of the trunk? arent those them or no? they are pretty rusted up too any suggestions on how to get them off if they're rusted up?

there's closer to 8-10 of those little nuts, if I remember correctly.

if they're rusted, spray them with WD-40 or PB blaster or penetrating oil of some sort and let them soak a while, then remove them.

Is there a picture available anywhere of where all these nuts are?

I just took mine off to change the trunk lock. They looked rusted but came off reall easy. They're kinding of hiding on the inner wall of the trunk but if you peak through the holes you'll find them easily enough...
